FUNDAMENTALS

'Fundamentals' are the 'curriculum classes' built to support you in incubators (or on your own). We usually recommend you have a recording platform (a DAW) that you can navigate in our programs. You can choose one from the CORE SKILLS collection. You can always go back and learn another.

Before you venture into the depths of mixing, we think you should familiarize yourself with the tools engineers use to shape sound. Things like compression, filters, signal flow, and basic mixing as well as microphones, speakers, cables and hardware can be learned in PRIME SKILLS classes like Effects Synthesis & Mixing Primer, etc.
