Charles Noel

Charles is resident Ableton specialist and guru of electronic music production, DJing and performance at the School of Audio Engineering. With more than twenty years of experience in the electronic music industry, Charles has produced albums for labels in Europe and has toured worldwide from North America to Europe and Japan, including after-hours performances for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival with Akufen and Orlando Voorn and the SONAR festival in Barcelona, appearing alongside Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin, Richard Divine, Matmos and John Peel. He toured Japan with Fumiya Tanaka and label mate Ricardo Villaobos, where he headlined at the world-famous Liquid Room in Tokyo.

New York City-based Midwestern transplant, Charles worked quietly behind the scenes of electronic dance music throughout the 1990s, overseeing the experimental imprint called the 21-22 Corporation and being a core member of the legendary Ele_mental art and music collective.

Considered by his peers as one of the leading future music producers in NYC, Archetyp’s music is appearing on DJ charts worldwide and can be heard from influential labels such as Futuristica, Raw Fusion, Moonstarr’s Public Transit Records, Cookin’, Bagpack and more.
